Fxpro Makes €20,000 Donation To L’église De La Transfiguration Monastery in France
Established in 1946 by four nuns, the monastery now has 22 nuns from several different countries. The original chapel used by the order was a sheepfold, and was too small to include the large crowd of worshippers who regularly attend services. The order therefore built a new church between 2000 and 2003 that would have room for everyone who wanted to attend.
The donation made by FxPro was used to restore a house that is part of the monastery. The money helped to renovate the kitchen, create a storage space, build stairs and fix the roof, which was in a poor condition.
A spokesperson for L’église de la Transfiguration Monastery said, “We are touched by the generosity and compassion of FxPro. This is donation will make a real difference and we would like to thank Mr Sukhotin personally for his kindness, along with the Board of Directors of FxPro.”

We hope that the nuns and those who attend the chapel enjoy the restorations that have been made.”
