Margin Calculator (term)

FxPro’s Margin Calculator allows traders to quickly and easily calculate how much margin is required in order to open a given position. The calculation is performed as follows:

Required Margin = Volume (Lot Size) / Leverage * exchange rate of account currency/base currency (if different from the base currency in the pair being traded).
