Pivot Point

Pivot points are technical indicators used to predict short-term movements in prices. They are calculated by taking the average of the asset’s highest, lowest and closing prices or the average of the asset’s highest, lowest, opening and closing prices. When the current price goes above a pivot point then it is regarded as being bullish. On the contrary, when the current price goes below a pivot point then it is regarded as being bearish.
